The house
Exposed brick, brown leather banquettes, wooden tables — the atmosphere of a Parisian bistrot transplanted into Huai Khwang. A place for a bourguignon with friends, a Panang curry with the family, or simply an afternoon coffee.
Our cuisine
Chez Max brings together two repertoires: the classics of the French bistrot — beef bourguignon, cordon bleu, lasagne, charcuterie platter — and the Thai crowd-pleasers. Everything is cooked on site, with fresh produce and faithful recipes.
A daily meeting point for Bangkok's French-speaking community — expats, entrepreneurs, travellers.
Our commitments
Our monthly rendez-vous
Every month, two signature evenings. Dates are announced on a case-by-case basis — call us to know when the next one is.
Once a month Discover our traditional homemade couscous, served all-you-can-eat in the warm atmosphere of Chez Max. Semolina, seasonal vegetables, fragrant broth and meats — everything is prepared in-house. Reservation recommended.
Once a month A gourmet journey through French terroirs: aged cheese platter (Camembert, goat cheese, Comté, Roquefort…) and artisan charcuterie (saucisson, cooked ham, chorizo, prosciutto). To share with friends over a glass of wine.
